The Secret Armory of General Knoxx!!!

Yet another reason to shoot and loot in the Borderlands of Pandora has arrived; The Secret Armory of General Knoxx. This RPG-FPS game has received a third downloadable content pack as of Feb. 23rd for Xbox owners and Feb. 25th for PS3 owners. Each previous DLC has had their own unique vibe and this one is no different. Gearbox and 2K Games have provided a DLC with much more depth, well worth the ten dollars. Among some of the new features of the pack are new vehicles, one of them being a four person ride! Why the hell did we not get a vehicle that seats four when this game hosts four…? Well, that little discrepancy has been remedied at last! Yes, there will be more guns. This game has such a wide ranging selection of guns that I have no idea what other kind of firearm they could possibly imagine. There are so many fresh additions to the game play, as well as to the story itself! Borderlands is definitely a game I don’t see myself parting with anytime soon!

Getting tired of shooting the same Rakk and Bad Mutha Maniacs over and over? Well fear not! Though you may be facing some Crimson Lance yet again, there are plenty of new dudes to spray in the face with your poisonous revolver……or your lighting sniper…or whatever bizarre weapon your killing people with these days. Now if you recall, the Atlas Corporation hates your guts so expect some trouble from those busters! There must be serious cases of malnutrition across Pandora, I mean, where do all the midgets come from? Why are there so many tiny people on that planet and who keeps giving them shotguns? Soldiers in mech suits? Yes sir, soldiers in mech suits. There are also some midgets riding skags! That’s kind of weird, right? Don’t be nervous to try shooting somebody new!

Oooooh the new super-elusive rare class of weaponry just sounds…so…super rare…and elusive! The addition of a whole class of gangsta when it comes to rare weaponry is a real treat for those of you that are loot whores. You know who you people are! Were you starting to feel a little restricted sitting at level 50? With the new level cap at level 61, you get to grind them levels again with the characters you thought you were done with!

The DLC picks up right after the events of the core story and pits you against all kinds of new adversaries! The Atlas Corporation still wants to put some holes in you and they have all kinds of new weapons to do it with. There a wide variety of new places to get lost in and eaten by monsters when your asshole buddies decide to drive off without you and leave you alone at the mercy of the Pandora wilds. The new vehicles are put to use as you cruise about the dangerous highways paths laden with enemies and those little invisible corners just waiting in ambush to snag you as you brush them, thus halting your progress entirely. Vehicle use is a bit more frequent in this addition, but there are still plenty of areas that force you to scope it out on foot.

With all the additions to both the story and the game play, this DLC is sure to please any fan of the game. Don’t be nervous to drop the 800 MS points and level up your character another eleven times! I know I have certainly desired some new vehicles, seeing as how all the old ones are all the same and all just as wack. Whether you’re on the PS3 or Xbox 360, you can blast on all kinds of new dudes, drive some new vehicles all over some fresh areas, and whore it up on a whole new level of rare weapons. Another dose of the unique humor that accompanies this game is part of the package as well. Hook up with your homies and lay waste to a whole new set on The Secret Armory of General Knoxx.
