The Most Fast-Paced Fire-Sauce Fighter On The Market!

Those of you that know me personally have probably heard me wish aloud for a new Marvel Vs Capcom 2 on more than one occasion. The fast-paced brawling of MVC2 was jaw dropping when it was first released as a coin-op, and it’s now even more stunning than ever on the Xbox360. The classic fighter had both the graphics and music tweaked, along with the addition of online multiplayer via Xbox Live. Yes, it’s true. You can play Marvel Vs Capcom 2 online, versus anyone at any time. We were blessed this this game-godsend on the 29th of July, 2009! This privilege can be obtained for a mere 1200 Microsoft points. Not a terrible price to pay in order to partake in the wide variety of epic battles between video-game and comic book legends!

Each player can choose three characters and swap them out at any time. The 56 character roster allows everybody to find that perfect team of three. After you have chosen from among Capcoms coolest or the X-Mens strongest, you battle it out against another team of three, each player able to swap his current fighter out at any given time. This dynamic allows for changes in strategy, or just a chance to heal your best fighter!

How can you not enjoy stringing together visually appealing combos and talking trash as you deal that final blow? The move sets are easy enough for anyone to learn, and yet, chaining them together stylishly is difficult enough to appease the true warrior. Fights can be won with classic fisticuffs, but are much more exciting when you have mastered some of the more advanced techniques, such as the variety of team special attacks, or longer combos linked with special attacks.

The addition of online play is amazingly fluid. I was pleasantly surprised at how lag free this game is online. One less pleasant aspect of online play is the fact that most people quit out of ranked matches before I am credited with a win! You know who you little bitches are! Oh and you’ll soon get tired of all the little punk asses that think using Cable and Iron Mans projectile attacks over and over, just jumping back, blocking, and shooting is actually a skillful tactic. When I think of my days playing the original MVC2, I think of all the trash talking that took place between my brothers, family, and friends. With this in mind, I was shocked to find how little shit was talked online. Of course, I compensated for my opponents lack of sass.

So there you have it. For 1200 Microsoft points, you can get your beast-mode on as much as you like with a wide variety of victims at your terrible disposal. Keep this in mind as you purchase this game; I am out there, somewhere, waiting to shit on you in this game. When I start to dookie all over you chest, you had better not quit out! So now you have been warned. Get those points, download the game, and come get your ass beat!
