Yesterday, CAPCOM confirmed the latest in the Resident Evil series, the 6th on the big scale to be precise. Resident Evil 6 brings two of the series favorites Chris and Leon together for the first time. Earlier this week, we had numbers of sites reports pointing to what appears to be a viral website campaign depicting Capcom is preparing to unveil a new Resident Evil title.
The Trailer you about to see shows some nice footage of what to expect and it revealed a release date to be November 20th, 2012. That simply means we’ll be having one hell of Christmas Holiday in 2012.
In conjunction with the announcement of Resident Evil 6, the retail pre-order campaign also kicks off today. GameStop, Best Buy and Amazon.com will each get an exclusive map that will function with various modes in the game. Further details on the maps and modes will be revealed at a later date.

It has been ten years since the Raccoon City incident and the President of the United States has decided to reveal the truth behind what took place in the belief that it will curb the current resurgence in bioterrorist activity. Due to be by the President’s side is his personal friend and Raccoon City survivor, Leon S. Kennedy, but when the venue suffers a bioterrorist attack, Leon is forced to face a President transformed beyond recognition and make his hardest ever decision.
