Red Dead Redemption Reveals Multiplayer

Recently Rockstar Games went ahead and unveiled exactly what we can expect of Red Dead Redemption’s online multiplayer. If you thought the new Red Dead’s single player looked amazing alone you would be happy to learn that you’ll have the whole game to explore online with your friends. Akin to free roam in GTAIV online you will be able to play with up to 16 other players in a lobby, and together you can participate in an array of activities like death match. You can also form a group with 8 other players and create a posse or team to play with. When you create a posse you can venture out to perform group activities such as clearing a hideout, hunting, or just exploring the land. Like GTAIV you can also gather up experience points and unlock weapons, challenges or characters as you progress through 50 levels. Although other ubiquitous online modes like team deathmatch are revealed it’s nice to see that you don’t have to make an entirely new game in order to go from death match to team deathmatch or any other activity. Not only do you have a great campaign to look forward to but now you’re guaranteed that you and your posse will roam the law-less land of Red Dead Redemption to sight see the beautiful terrain, fight off other posses, and do just about anything you damn well please; like a real cowboy should!
