Codemasters community manager Ian Webster has confirmed that there will be NO demo for F1 2010.
According to Webster, time constraints are apparently to blame…….he said ”Due to the nature of the game, and its layers of licensed content, it will not be possible to make a cut-down, limited content sample that would serve as a demo for F1 in 2010 within our production deadlines”.
So let’s get this straight. They are releasing the game not even mid of F1 Season, but with just 5 races left of the season. And they haven’t enough time to release a demo? This is indeed sad news for gamers interested on sitting in the cockpit of the new game to test drive before shelling out cash for it, especially considering it’s the first F1 Game on the New-Gen consoles.
Another question asked was “What about throwing out a quick demo once the game’s done and on shelves then?” Denied again, we’re afraid, as the game’s chief designer explained: “Seeing as we’ll have to move over to ’11 almost immediately I very much doubt resource will be spent on the ’10 demo which would reduce the scope of the ’11 game.”

I feel another MW2 here, if there’s no demo, i’m afraid the game might be buggy…..this report has been gathering angers from all corners of gaming world, considering even the fact that the formula 1 season would be almost over by the time the game is released, and still no Demo.
