Just when you Capcom fans thought you could not possibly derive any more entertainment from your copy of Lost Planet 2, another DLC is thrown out into the mix. Now don’t you just go and assume that this DLC is just another couple of maps either! This time around Capcom has seen fit to bestow upon us a whole new game type as well as a new character skin. Intrigued? Well, wait till you see the price on this piece!
The game type is called Rush Arena and consists of you and up to three of your friends throwing down against every single boss from the campaign. Now those of you that have defeated the game, especially on Extreme mode, know that this is an intriguing challenge to say the least. Did I mention that times and scores will be kept and that there will be leader boards for this madness? A mode in a game that pits you against all the boss fights in a row is nowhere near innovative. What makes it appealing is the boss fights themselves; usually requiring a degree of teamwork as well as keen reflexes. Sounds like fun stuff to me!
Not only do you get do battle with the safety-orange titans, one after another, but you also get a new character skin titled Post Modern Skin…whatever that means. By now you must be pulling your hair and scanning for a price, I’m sure. This Lost Planet 2 DLC comes in at a mere $2.99! What a steal, right? So who wants to pool in a couple dollars and dominate those Rush Arena leader boards with me?
