Left 4 Dead 2 DLC This Spring!

Just when you thought that the game-play of Valves latest hit zombie-shooter, Left 4 Dead 2 , couldn’t possibly get any sexier, it does. Valve has officially announced that a Left 4 Dead 2 downloadable content pack, called ‘The Passing’, will be available on the Xbox360 Marketplace this spring. Though they have yet to announce the pricing….There will be new weaponry, new map, and new game-play content! Oh, and did I mention that the previous cast of Left 4 Dead will be making an appearance?

There may be those of you that felt like you really identified with Louis, or maybe you had a little crush on Zoey,  felt empowered being Francis, or just really looked up to Bill. Well fret no longer, for Valve states that the survivors of L4D and L4d2 will meet up in a rural town in Georgia, just after the events of the ‘Dead Center’ campaign. They have yet to say anything regarding potential 8-player co-op, but we let’s keep our fingers crossed! Oh and new maps for Survival, Scavenge, and Versus modes are a pleasant bonus. A couple new melee weapons and a couple new guns will also be part of the pack. Valve also states that a new zombie type will be available as well…..but who cares about the zombies? I can’t use the zombies, so I don’t care what the hell they look like.

I suppose it makes sense that they meet at some point, seeing as how they all have the exact same nick-names for the special infected. Who do you think would win in a fist-fight, Coach or Francis? Maybe Bill will shoot Ellis because the kid never shuts up. I can’t wait to see the new maps and rape some survivor face on them! I’m sure more information regarding the DLC will be available closer to its spring release date, so be sure to check back!
