Infinity Ward Ex Respawn with A New Studio

The Ex Bosses at Infinity Ward, Jason West and Vince Zampella have created a new studio named Respawn Entertainment,  the new company has exclusive publishing deal with Activision rival, Electronic Arts. Both were sacked recently by Activision, allegedly on violating their employment contracts by meeting with a rival publisher — believed to be Electronic Arts Inc. — and using illicit means to recruit former colleagues to join them in forming a new independent game development studio.

According to Zampella: “Respawn Entertainment marks a fresh start for Jason and me,” he continues “For the past decade we led a great development team and poured our hearts into creating an epic game franchise. We’re very proud of what we built – and proud that so many millions of fans enjoyed those games. Today we hope to do it all over again — open a new studio, hire a great team, and create brand new games with a new partner, EA.”

Jason West is so excited about the new deal, he said:  ”Now that the team is in control of the games and brands, we can ensure that the fans are treated as well as they deserve”. Although, not much is revealed on which type of game this duo and their new Studio is going to be working on, all indications point to another World Class gaming experience for all gamers. I personally cant wait to see what they come up with, at the moment the studio will focus on assembling a “world-class” team, we learnt.
