Hydrophobia surfaces this September 2010

As you all know by now, Dark Energy, the Aquamarines behind the much awaited multi-award winning game, Hydrophobia, got their title shifted (back dated) 2-3 times already, but now it’s officially confirmed that the water riddled game is coming 29th of September to XboxLive.

The game is scheduled to be part of the oncoming Microsoft’s “The Game Feast presented by Microsoft Game Studios”.  The Game Feast presented by Microsoft Game Studios will feature Hydrophobia as the first of four ground breaking titles. Hydrophobia is going to kick off this event by offering players to see the new water-physics technology in action.

Peter Jones, creative director of Dark Energy says : “Hydrophobia is one of the most anticipated Xbox LIVE Arcade titles of 2010, and as a part of  The Game Feast, will make a very big splash indeed. Hydrophobia contains some of the most cutting edge technology and some of the most innovative and fun gameplay of any retail or Xbox LIVE Arcade game. It is a 7 hour tsunami of action. I am very proud that Hydrophobia is a part of The Game Feast. I believe it will take Xbox LIVE Arcade to new heights.“
“The Game Feast will feature four major single-player games and it is very appropriate that the first of these is the ground breaking and much acclaimed Hydrophobia. We believe this will be a new high water mark for Xbox LIVE Arcade.“  -

Saxs Persson, Senior Director of Xbox LIVE Arcade

And from the look of it, like we at RTG has been telling Rob Hewson, one of the Pagan Deities of Dark Energy, since day one of our interview with him, this game is going to be the AWESOME.
