Today I’ve been trying to escape. Today I’ve been trying to escape from a mental robot. Today I’ve been doing science tests. That’s right today I’ve been playing Portal 2 and it’s fantastic!

The first thing that you’ll notice is the trademark humour of Portal, the characters are memorable, the visuals are beautiful and the puzzles are a combination of fun and challenge. So far with the PSN outage I’ve only been able to give the single player a go but fans of the original Portal won’t be disappointed. The game builds upon the concepts of the original titles yet somehow makes them different and unique.
The plot, as with the original Portal is charming but has more depth which was you would expect with the sequel been a stand alone title.
If this isn’t enough for you, if you grab the PS3 version you get a free copy of the game on PC or Mac.
My first impressions is that this is a sequel that lives up to its original but there’s still a long way for me to go and I can’t wait to get going with the co-op but that’s all in time.
Look out for the full Portal 2 review coming soon.
