To be fair, it’s not as if this is the best kept secret in games industry or scene as a whole, but it’s now rumoured that Duke Nukem Forever or DNF as we all tends to call it is about to be unveiled today at the PAX in Seattle. Many gamers have died waiting to see this day come true, and some of us are lucky to be a witness, but can DNF live ever again to its expectation?
According to CVG: Publisher 2K last night said that “something big is going to happen at the 2K Games Booth this PAX”.
“The tease follows last month’s rumours that Gearbox had taken over development of DNF. Boss Randy Pitchford reportedly intimated that something may be coming at PAX”.
Duke Nukem Forever has suffered a famously patchy history. The Original DNF developer 3D Realms filed for bankruptcy last year, after working on the game for whooping 12 years . Go Figure.
Let’s hope this announcement is not another line in the history of never to be for Duke Nukem Forever…..we at RTG will keep you posted.
