Renowned publisher, Bethesda, is looking to shake up the FPS market for the PS3, Xbox 360, and the PC with a new fast-paced shooter titled Brink. Developing this ambitious title is the UK-based Splash Damage, and they have set the bar quite high, from what it sounds like. Oh you know Splash Damage; they made that Quake Wars. They are promising extreme character customization, an immersive story, a... more. -

I enjoyed THQ’s 3rd-person revival of the Red Faction series much more than I thought I would. Red Faction: Guerrilla took the franchise in a slightly new direction with the new view-point as well as the open world story mode. Now Red Faction seems to be undergoing yet another transformation as there will even more changes made to both the story of the title as well as the game play. I think it... more. -

Two years ago horror fans found themselves a new instant classic title to immerse themselves into. As Isaac Clarke you explored the depths of an abandoned ship and fought your way through zombie-esque enemies known as the Necromorph. The gaming community was caught off guard by this new IP from EA, and in 2011 we’ll be able to play the next chapter in Isaac Clarke’s horrific journey... more. -

You tread softly through the desolate road. Your eyes shift from one direction to the other -- you’re paranoid and no one can blame you – these are dangerous grounds. You grip your 50 caliber rifle as you watch something large move fast in the distance. It’s moving and fortunately not towards you, but towards another unlucky traveler. Distant screams and gunshots ensue; you smil... more. -

Everything is a little more industrial in Bowerstone, and players will soon realize in Fable 3 that this town is far more advanced than the Middle Aged Albion in Fable 2. A castle looms over the industrialized town and the tyrannical King watches over all. It’s a dark time for the residents in Albion; with children being abducted from the streets and forced into hard labor in the factories spre... more. -

EA did their best to ease the boredom of the Summer game release doldrums by chucking six big announcements at us last week. There were two that really caught my eye, though. There's Darkspore, which appears to be some kind of abomination born of the copulation between Maxis's adorable sandbox affair Spore and the gothic dungeon crawling of the Diablo-clone genre, but most interesting to me is... more. -

The newest addition to the LEGO family; LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4. The storyline will cover the first four books and movies but in LEGO style! I’m super stoked for this game. It’s very rare for me to buy any “new” game that gets released. Now that I have my Lost Planet 2, I’m waiting on this game so I can kick some butt at Hogwarts! With a release date of June 29, 2010 I can’t wai... more. -

Check out some of the new gameplay clips that surfaced recently. The game looks pretty solid so far, and co-op looks like a blast. “It’s easier to iterate on a product than to bring something totally new.” Says Remedy’s Matias Myllyrinne. It must be true given the fact that Remedy’s last released game was Max Payne 2 back in 2003. Ever since the release of that game seven years ago Remedy has been working on Alan Wake; a project that has undergone so much change in its style and scope. Myllyrinne explained a... more. -

First off, God of War 3 is a beautiful game, albeit it does seem like an HD God of War the original title from PlayStation 2 was great and still holds up; (a la God of War Collection on PS3) if anyone is looking for an innovative iteration they may be disappointed but like I've stated it looks gorgeous. This has been a big title in the eyes of many PlayStation 3 owners and it's one of the most a... more.

It would be a fair assumption to say that the games industry has been neglecting the western genre. We had Gun a few years ago and most recently there was Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood release just this past summer. This April you'll be able to experience a sandbox style Western that utilizes the same engine applied in Grand Theft Auto 4 (Euphoria and RAGE) from Rockstar San Diego. The ... more. -
